  35.  I had the biggest prob with my cd player. i just removed all
  36. emulations and it worked. but my error mesg. was 'no cd-rom detected'
  37. maybe that will help.

  46. I have recently subscribed to these mailing lists and need some help in 
  47. finding or writing some header files for use with ultramid.  I recently 
  48. downloaded the GUS SDK and have been paying a lot of interest in 
  49. ultramid.doc.  However to compile any of the example programs a few 
  50. header files like ultramid.h and midi.h are needed.  It is possible to 
  51. construct a copy of ultramid.h from the documentation in the sense of 
  52. satisfying compiler errors but i can't get anything to run.  I get a 
  53. few non-portable pointer conversion warnings or suspicious warnings as 
  54. I have not figured out the correct types for all of the header file.  
  55. I'm sure there is also a lot missing.  Can anyone help me or point me 
  56. to a ftp site.  I have looked but been unsuccessful.  Anything to do with 
  57. ultramid would help.

  82. I've got a GUS and a SB pro working fine together in my system.. The SB 
  83. is at DMA 1, IRQ 7, Port 220, and the GUS is at DMA 7, IRQ 11, Port 250.  
  84. Try setting your GUS setting manually in your autoexec.bat and 
  85. system.ini file.  I believe the GUS setup program trys to set up the 
  86. GUS for SB emulation, so that may be where your problems are coming 
  87. from.
